At Lakota Hay Company, we pride ourselves on offering large square bales of hay at affordable prices while still providing the highest quality product. We understand the importance of providing nutrition to livestock and aim to make it accessible for all.
While our hay is suitable for many species, we specialize in premium hay specifically formulated for horses, using a seed mix custom blended for horses based on recommendations from the veterinary medicine department at Iowa State University.
PREMIUM BLEND IN LARGE BALE SIZES
Our hay is a makeup of 50% alfalfa, 20% orchard, 15% timothy, and 15% brome. Our bales are barn stored from the day of harvest until the time they leave our property, to ensure they retain maximum nutritional value. This high nutritional content of our hay, combined with our large 3x4 bale size ensures that your livestock will have enough to last for a while.
FlEXIBLE SHIPPING & PICKUP
We are happy to offer a variety of options to get our hay from our fields to your animals. We allow scheduled pickups at our location in Northern Iowa, or we can arrange shipping nationwide.
